We began our new season with ten new additional kids to add to our already large group of young archers, this is one of the best groups of young people we have ever had. Many of the kids are already showing great skill while shooting their bows and obtaining very good scores. We have about 45 kids who participate each Wednesday night from 6:30-8:30 each benefiting from the great coaching skills of our five new coaches; George, Doug, Kirk, Jim, and Rick, who each gave up a weekend last year which encompassed thirty hours of proper training and techniques so they may better help and train our young shooters - A big note of thanks to each of you. I would also like to send my appreciation to Dwayne, Dan, and Lorry for also coming back another year to offer their expert coaching skills to. I would also mention Amy who handles registration and of course Mimi Rivardo who has done a fantastic job serving delicious sandwiches and snacks from the kitchen. The food Mimi prepares in the kitchen is something kids, moms, and dads all look forward to, a kid’s night out and dinner too.
Without the help from these dedicated volunteers year after year our program would not be very successful, however our club is very fortunate to have people who care a great deal about the kids, the JOAD program and its continued success!
